Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, providing technical support, and implementing new technologies to improve our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Provide technical support to all employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
- Oversee data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on IT systems and software applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
