Job Summary
The IT Director at Confidential Company in the Real Estate industry will oversee the technological infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and efficiency. This role involves strategic planning, managing IT projects, and leading a team of IT professionals. The IT Director will collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business operations and support the company's growth in the real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals and the unique needs of the real estate industry.
- Lead and manage the IT department, providing direction and support to the team.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems to improve business processes specific to real estate operations.
- Ensure IT systems and infrastructure support the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Project Management
- Oversee all IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Manage the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems, particularly those related to property management, CRM, and real estate transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
- Operational Management
- Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
- Oversee the management of network infrastructure, servers, databases, and software, with a focus on real estate-specific applications.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
- Manage IT budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
- Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff.

- Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

- Security and Compliance
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the company’s data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Real Estate Technology Implementation
- Oversee the deployment and management of real estate-specific technology platforms (e.g., property management systems, CRM systems, GIS mapping).
- Ensure the IT infrastructure supports real-time data analytics and reporting to aid in property management and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives, preferably within the real estate industry.
