This is a self-starter role, and the successful candidate will define and execute appropriate technical sales, pre-sales, customer engagement strategies, integration, advisory and cyber consulting to maximise customer acquisition, expansion and giving best service experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric senior principal cybersecurity consultant to join our growing team.
As a Senior principal cybersecurity consultant: customer acquisition, experience and engagement, you will play a crucial role in ensuring new customer acquisition, onboarding, provide a seamless and exceptional experience throughout their journey with our products and services. Your mission is to ensure customers realize the full benefits and value of our products and become ardent advocates for CYFIRMA. You will become the trusted advisor to the customer, resulting in successfully increasing the customer lifetime value for CYFIRMA.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and implement cyber threat management, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, attack surface management, digital risk management, incident response, cyber risk, and vulnerability assessment.
- Help customers with cybersecurity operation centre implementation, optimization, and operating guideline.
- Develop, evaluate, implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards for customers.
- Make sure CYFIRMA’s products are fully integrated into customer’s people, process, and technology layer.
- Provide cybersecurity risk management services, including conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat analysis.
- Manage and coordinate the execution of cybersecurity programs, ensuring compliance with industry/regulatory standards and frameworks, conducting security awareness training, and developing incident response plans.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to clients' security teams, including assisting with policy development, program management, and planning cybersecurity roadmaps.
- Collaborate with clients' executive teams to ensure the alignment of security strategy with business objectives.
- Conduct cybersecurity program assessments and provide recommendations to improve clients' security posture.
- Assist in developing proposals, statements of work, reports, and other deliverables as part of the sales and delivery process.
- This role owns new customer onboarding on CYFIRMA’s products and services ensuring a smooth transition. Customers must be taken along the shortest path to value so that they can realize ROI as soon as possible.
- Conduct engaging training sessions and webinars for customers to familiarize them with CYFIRMA product's features, functionalities, and best practices. Continuously educate customers on new updates and enhancements.
- This role will be called upon to provide technical support to customers regarding CYFIRMA’s products and services. Will need to help customers plan and understand the best ways to utilise CYFIRMA’s products based on the customer’s business needs or business plans. The Senior principal cybersecurity consultant will not only focused on supporting sales, but also on educating customers on the breadth and depth of CYFIRMA’s products and solutions so customers can utilise the products to their fullest.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their goals, challenges, and use cases. Work collaboratively with internal teams to drive customer success and ensure value realization from CYFIRMA products.
- Responsible for customer renewals and upsell to increase the lifetime value (LTV) value of CYFIRMA’s customers.
- Run periodic health checks of customer accounts to ensure all the customers are correctly engaged and effective corrective steps are undertaken to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, acting as their trusted advisor for all product-related matters.
- Collaborate with international teams to improve research and service operations, and service platform development.
Requirements:
- Over 8-20 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain with customer engagement and service delivery.
- Technical background with knowledge of cyber defense, threat management, risk management, cyber intelligence, vulnerability management, attack surface management, and digital risk management.
- Understand cybersecurity risks, mitigation measures and residual risks orally and in writing to stakeholders, in an easily understood and actionable manner.
- Knowledge of security technologies (such as SIEM, Log Management and Analysis Tools, firewall, cryptography, vulnerability scanning tools, endpoint security, identity and access management), and frameworks (such as MITRE ATT&CK framework), and security domains (such as network security, cloud security and application security).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
- Strong technical understanding of information security concepts and technologies, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of the latest threats and trends in information security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate.
- technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
- Familiarity with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
- Knowledge of system security architecture concepts including network topology, protocols, components and principles (e.g. application of Defence in Depth), and able to specify where and how security controls should be applied to or engineered into the security design.
- Proven success in selling into specific markets.
- Established relationships with technology and cybersecurity solution buyers.
- Presentation skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations independently.
- Ability to prepare proposals and quotations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
