The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining our information technology systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance, and providing technical support to all employees. Responsibilities:
1. System Administration:
· Manage and maintain all IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
· Perform regular updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and security.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
2. Technical Support:
· Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
· Respond to and resolve IT support tickets promptly.
· Conduct training sessions to educate employees on best practices and new technologies.
3. Network Management:
· Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
· Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
· Monitor network performance and optimize as needed.
4. Software Management:
· Install, configure, and maintain enterprise software applications.
· Ensure software licenses are up-to-date and compliant with vendor agreements.
· Collaborate with various departments to identify software needs and provide solutions.
5. Cybersecurity:
· Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
· Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
· Respond to and mitigate security incidents.
6. IT Projects:
· Lead and participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
