1. Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other networking devices.
2. Install, configure, and support network operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco IOS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3. Monitor network performance, traffic, and usage patterns, using network monitoring tools and software to identify and resolve issues proactively.
4. Configure and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs, to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
5. Implement network policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
6. Troubleshoot network problems and outages, diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, performance, and configuration in a timely manner.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) may be required or preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong background in networking technologies, protocols, and architectures.
3. Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and DHCP/DNS servers.
4. In-depth knowledge of network security principles and practices, including access controls, encryption, authentication, and security protocols.
5. Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
