Job Purpose:
Responsible for all enterprise and consumer facing technology, playing a critical and strategic role for EKFC in helping drive improvement in the fundamentals as a path to growth and innovation, scaling and maturing the technology organisation, retiring legacy systems, and driving customer focused, forward-thinking technology leadership across the company.
Key Result Areas:
1.Strategically drive an innovative technology transformation in a dynamic organisation with an emphasis on constructive disruption. Partner with business stakeholders to ensure technology investment enables and drives business strategy whilst optimising investment of time and money.
2.Define next generation services and capability and develop the back-end architecture capable of building delivering these capabilities. Identify the true differentiators of the future technology landscape and leverage Cloud solutions from Saas (Software as a service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a services) for the commodity elements of the future landscape.
3.Build trust and change the perception of IT from being viewed as an order taker/service provider, into IT being a valued partner of the business, proactively bringing available solutions to the business.
4.Ensure the continued maintenance and investment in current legacy systems to remain competitive ensuring that the *lights are kept on* whilst showing passion for detail when it comes to 100% uptime and cyber security.
5.Implementation of the new generation ERP system that caters to our future needs and aligns with corporate, group strategy. Bring in IOT, BOT*s and other innovative solutions that will transform EKFC*s IT landscape.
6.Effectively lead the prioritisation of technology investments, ensure accountability, and achieve company goals by creating the IT operating model.
7.Develop and manage standardised and highly efficient technology services and solutions through a clearly defined architectural roadmap, ensuring reliability and scalability of systems and infrastructure in a dynamic and agile environment.
8.Ensure cohesion and alignment of the digital and innovation organisation to the overall enterprise transformation roadmap and digital strategy. Build and continuously develop a high performing team of driven and skilled professionals to lead the digital agenda and enhance organisational capability.
9.Lead the incorporation and effective use of AI, Cognitive technologies, and Intelligent Process Automation to ensure EKFC maintains a competitive edge across its services to its customers.
10. Manage the IT team*s performance on an ongoing basis to ensure high potential and low performance are appropriately addressed whilst empowering IT talent to drive cutting edge technology enhancements for EKFC.
Experience:
o15 years of relevant experience with minimum of 5 years* experience in a leadership capacity
Knowledge/skills:
oExecuting IT transformation strategies
oAbility to lead teams to review and design business processes in line with new technology implementation.
oTransitioning legacy infrastructure and applications onto new technology platforms e.g. Cloud, Big data, AI and machine learning
oDeveloping, deploying and managing digital/ Omni-channel systems
oLaunching and managing large-scale internal and external innovative consumer products and applying agile development methods to rapidly integrate technologies into business operations
oDesign and development of security strategy and plan including cybersecurity, data and intellectual property protection.
oProduct lifecycle management, contract and SLA (internal and external) management
Partnering with external technology solutions providers to design, develop and implement new technology solutions
