Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage and business growth within the real estate sector with providing IT strategic inputs at the Executive management level of the organization.
- Provides strategic direction, day-to-day management, and key technical oversight of IT to support high-quality programs implementation.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
- Effectively manages talent and supervise. Monitors and assess performance to ensure adequate capacity for successful support of high-quality IT services.
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and scalability of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive real estate information from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. Stay abreast of emerging security risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Monitor risks and threats to IT environment or infrastructure and take appropriate action.
- Knowledge and experience in requirements traceability throughout the design phase, including functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ability and experience in translating functional and non-functional requirements into solution/feature/component design and service architecture.
- Understands how the business structures and functions relate to the nature of the service.
- Review and liaise with business and technical stakeholders all the strategic demands including strategic architecture, roadmaps, transition, migration strategy, capability gaps for the respective domains.
- Manage financial aspects of the IT department.
- Leads the IT team in the delivery of innovative services, supports the computing hardware, networks and software needs of numerous departments of Diamond Developers LLC and provides both strategic and operational guidance to the IT Team.
- Application Development and Integration: Lead the development, customization, and integration of software applications tailored to the needs of the real estate business, such as property management systems, CRM platforms, and data analytics tools.
- Data Management and Analytics: Establish data management policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of real estate data. Implement analytics solutions to derive insights for informed decision-making and improved operational efficiency.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, service providers, and consultants. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with business requirements and budgetary constraints.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing IT team capable of supporting the diverse technology needs of the real estate organization. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives while controlling costs. Monitor expenditures, track ROI, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to IT governance, data privacy, and risk management. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders to understand their technology needs, priorities, and challenges. Provide regular updates on IT initiatives, performance metrics, and project status.
Educational Qualification:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or any other related fields, with strong specialization in IT areas.
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CISSP, PMP) preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the in the Information Technology management, IT infrastructure development, implementation and coordination, systems management, internet/intranet systems.
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably within the real estate industry or related sectors, with practical demonstrable accomplishments in IT development, deployment, Implementation, and maintenance of IT system.
- Deep understanding of real estate business processes, including property management, leasing, sales, and investment.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise systems, cloud computing, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation, managing change, and delivering measurable results.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, budgeting principles, and vendor management practices.
