The Role: Cybersecurity Director/Sales Director
Paratus Cyber Risk Management Services LLC is a young company providing cybersecurity services in the MENA region. We are based in Dubai with a branch in Abu Dhabi. We are investing in expanding our cyber team to meet a growing demand and provide a comprehensive range of services and solutions. We are looking for a strategic Cybersecurity Director to drive our sales initiatives and expand our portfolio and geographic reach for Cybersecurity services. The ideal candidate is proven to build and scale high-performing teams from the ground up, consistently delivering on ambitious goals and effectively working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. He is responsible for an end-to-end sales process that involves lead generation, cold calling, meeting clients, prospecting, customer onboarding, and finally, overseeing excellent after-sales services. It is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the sales team and driving revenue growth for the organization's cybersecurity products and services. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, team management, and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry. The desired candidate would help us to achieve this using their expertise and experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration, considering the unique challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity sector.
2. Development: Develop and mentor a high-performing sales team.
3. Management: Management of challenging sales client engagements to ensure quality and value to our clients. Generating sales funnel for various services/ products offered by the company using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying, and developing the company's unique selling proposition. Participation in undertaking tenders and participation in pre-bid meetings and finalization of the tender documents and submission thereof.
4. Team Leadership: Manage and lead the sales team, including hiring, training, and setting performance goals for sales representatives and account managers.
5. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs and providing tailored solutions.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and relevant. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts. Identify prospective industry opportunities to drive customer awareness, engagement, acquisition, and referrals. Explore and target new business leads and opportunities.
7. Marketing: Partner with Content and Growth Marketing counterparts to run lead generation campaigns. Deliver sales pitches and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of a product to influence purchase.
8. Sales planning: Own and account for an annual business plan and budget
9. Sales Reporting: Capture accurate performance and efficiency metrics for weekly reporting upstream.
10. Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to make accurate revenue forecasts and adjust strategies as needed.
11. Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and improve the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
12. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, service delivery, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to customer needs and market positioning.
13. Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the cybersecurity company.
Qualifications:
1. Cybersecurity Knowledge: A deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry trends is essential to selling cybersecurity products and services effectively.
2. Sales Experience: Extensive experience in sales and a track record of success in a similar leadership role, ideally within the cybersecurity industry.
3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and lead the sales team to achieve their goals.
4. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company's goals and market conditions.
6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions, assess market trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
7. Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques and deal-closing abilities, especially in the complex and competitive cybersecurity sector.
8. Results-driven: A results-oriented mindset focusing on achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
Job Requirements:
1. 10+ years' experience prospecting and selling to the CISO/CIO
2. 10+ years' experience in Cyber Security and Data Privacy sales
3. 10+ years of sales leadership experience
4. Proven track record in a similar role with clear evidence of execution in an early-stage growth company.
