About The Role
As a Project Manager (Cybersecurity), you will lead the planning and delivery of multiple security engagements in parallel. You will coordinate internal and customer stakeholders, manage scope, timelines, and risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and with high customer satisfaction.This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, execution-driven, and comfortable managing technical workstreams without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects: kickoff → planning → execution → tracking → reporting → closureDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and stakeholder communicationsCoordinate cross-functional teams including sales, pre-sales, engineering, SOC/IR, and third-party vendorsManage scope control, including change requests, assumptions/dependencies, and SOW alignmentLead customer governance through status calls, steering updates, action tracking, and escalation managementEnsure quality of delivery artifacts including reports, runbooks, handover documents, and acceptance sign-offsTrack timelines, utilization, and delivery forecasts for leadership reportingDrive continuous improvement across templates, playbooks, and recurring engagement models
Requirements
Must-Have
4-8+ years of project management experience (IT, cybersecurity, or technology services preferred)Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with external customers and internal technical teamsStrong stakeholder management skills (comfortable engaging IT managers through senior leadership/executives)Strong planning and execution discipline (timelines, dependencies, change control, escalation handling)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-ready reportingNice-to-Have (Preferred)
Experience in cybersecurity projects such as:SOC/MDR onboardingEDR deploymentsIncident response retainersVulnerability managementVAPT programsFirewall/network securityCloud securityGRC initiativesFamiliarity with security concepts (MITRE ATT&CK, incident response lifecycle, vulnerability remediation workflows, SIEM/logging basics)Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, ITIL (any combination)
