Client Introduction
In this role, you will collaborate closely with one of our esteemed clients—a global leader in their industry, recognized for their commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. They have partnered with Dautom as their trusted IT consulting provider for upcoming strategic initiatives.
Role Purpose
The role holder is responsible for supporting and maintaining complex applications in Production environment. The duties include reporting to your manager, collaborating with colleagues to guide and fix technical issues. You will also be required to provide support to our clients on their technical issues.
Seeking a senior-level resource to replace, with strong hands-on expertise in network security and perimeter protection.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in network and security engineering roles.
Core Skill Sets
- Firewalling: Strong expertise in enterprise firewalls, preferably FortiGate (design, implementation, troubleshooting).
- Routing & Networking: Solid background in Cisco routing and switching, including complex enterprise networks.
- Forward Proxy / SWG: Hands-on experience with forward proxy solutions, preferably Netskope or Skyhigh, including policy design and traffic inspection.
- DDoS Protection: Practical experience in DDoS mitigation and protection, preferably using Arbor solutions.
Role Expectation
- Act as a subject-matter expert for perimeter security.
- Support design, operations, and incident response activities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and guide junior engineers when required.
