Job Title: Senior Manager: Cyber Security
Job Location : Dubai
Main Objectives:
The Senior Manager is responsible for establishing a strategic long-term vision and overarching goals for securing the organization's assets. This includes strategic planning, conducting risk assessments, prioritizing security efforts, promoting layered security, and staying updated on evolving technologies and threats to prevent disruptions in critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and communicate a strategic vision aligned with business objectives for asset security .
• Lead the design and implementation of secure systems and networks using layered security controls to mitigate risks effectively .
• Define and maintain robust incident response procedures covering detection, containment, eradication, and recovery to ensure uninterrupted business operations .
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize security initiatives based on impact and likelihood • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve security effectiveness .
• Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on advanced threat detection and incident response .
• Integrate lessons learned from security incidents and audits into the security strategy for continuous improvement .
• Evaluate and incorporate cutting-edge security technologies to strengthen the organization's defense mechanisms .
• Prepare and present regular security progress reports to executives and stakeholders, highlighting achievements and challenges .
• Monitor the evolving threat landscape and adapt security measures proactively .
Qualifications Required
• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Cyber Security .
• Relevant certifications include GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Certified Cyber Threat Hunting Professional (CCTHP), Master Threat Hunter (MTH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) .
• Fluent proficiency in English is required .
Experience Required
• At least 15 years of experience including a minimum of 6 years managing cyber security operations .
• Knowledge of threat hunting hypotheses based on threat intelligence and security alerts .
• Familiarity with basic Data Science concepts and processes is also desirable .
