Cinergie is seeking a highly capable Project Manager with strong experience in IT Security, WAF, CDN, and cloud-based security solutions. The role focuses on driving end-to-end delivery of security and infrastructure initiatives with tight governance, stakeholder alignment, and measurable impact on the organization’s security posture. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and ensure every part of the initiative from planning to deployment runs with clarity, discipline, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage full project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
- Run day-to-day delivery and ensure the project remains aligned to agreed business and security objectives.
- Track progress through structured governance, raising flags early and driving timely resolution.
- Identify, evaluate, and document cybersecurity and delivery risks.
- Develop mitigation plans, monitor exposure areas, and maintain proactive escalation to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and enterprise security standards.
- Work with security engineers, network teams, cloud teams, architects, and operations to progress deliverables.
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Align expectations and ensure accountability across teams and vendors.
- Support evaluation, PoC, and selection of WAF, CDN, and related security products.
- Govern vendor execution from kickoff to implementation, ensuring deliverables meet quality and security requirements.
- Enforce SLAs, compliance, and change-control processes.
- Maintain structured documentation including project plans, RAID logs, technical evaluation summaries, and test outcomes.
- Build dashboards and KPIs to measure implementation success and improvements in security posture.
- Provide closure reports with clear recommendations for operational handover.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- 5–8 years of IT project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years specifically in cybersecurity, IT security, or information risk management projects.
- Strong background managing cloud-based security initiatives (preferably AWS).
- PMP or PRINCE2 (mandatory or strongly preferred).
- Additional security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
