Role Description
This is a contracted hybrid role for a Virtual Senior CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) located in Dubai , with the flexibility for some work from home. The Senior CISO will oversee and manage all aspects of information security, from developing and implementing security measures to training staff on security policies. Specific responsibilities include ensuring business continuity, managing application security, conducting risk assessments, and leading cybersecurity initiatives. The role requires the candidate to stay updated on emerging threats and compliance requirements and strategize accordingly.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Information Security Management, Information Security, and Cybersecurity
- Proficiency in Business Continuity and Application Security
- Ability to manage and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train staff and manage security policies
- Experience with GRC solutions and aligning security measurements with business strategy
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred
- Experience in the financial or healthcare industry is an advantage
