This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, innovation, and performance across the organisation, as it aims to redefine how financial services are built, delivered, and scaled in today’s tech-driven world.
Your Mission
As Chief Digital Officer, you will be responsible for leading the company's digital evolution, developing strategies that leverage AI, cloud computing, big data analytics, and emerging technologies to optimise performance and drive innovation. You will champion organisational change and ensure that digital initiatives are fully aligned with the business's commercial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Transformation Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, aligned with business growth and innovation goals.
- Drive the adoption of AI, cloud technologies, big data analytics, and automation to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Continuously assess new technologies and digital trends to position the company ahead of the competition.
Innovation Management & Culture Building
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation with emerging technologies and new business models.
- Launch and manage digital labs, pilot projects, and internal incubation programs to validate new ideas.
- Drive mindset and skillset shifts across the organisation to embrace agility and digital-first thinking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with CIO, CTO, CMO, and other executive leaders to ensure seamless integration of digital strategies across departments.
- Align digital initiatives with marketing, sales, product development, finance, and operations to maximise synergies.
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on digital risks, opportunities, and investments.
Technology Integration & Operational Excellence
- Oversee the selection, integration, and optimisation of cloud platforms, AI systems, customer-facing digital products, and backend infrastructure.
- Ensure cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and data governance frameworks support all digital initiatives.
Customer-Centric Innovation
- Utilise digital technologies to enhance customer engagement, personalisation, and service delivery.
- Build digital platforms and ecosystems that improve user experiences and create new revenue streams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in digital transformation, innovation, or technology strategy, preferably within FinTech, banking, or tech-driven industries.
Deep expertise in AI, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional digital initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
- Exceptional leadership, change management, and communication skills.
- Experience managing multi-site, cross-border operations is a strong advantage.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution at scale.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the UAE, with flexibility between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
