Information Technology Security Analyst

In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our information systems, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor and analyze security events (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.).

• Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly.

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventative measures.

2. Vulnerability Management

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and remediate issues.

• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on business risk and impact.

3. Policy & Compliance

• Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing security policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

• Conduct audits and assessments to validate compliance.

4. Security Tool Management

• Administer and configure security tools (firewalls, antivirus, encryption software).

• Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and recommend improvements.

5. Threat Intelligence & Awareness

• Monitor threat intelligence sources for new risks.

• Conduct employee security awareness training to reduce human-related risk.

6. Collaboration & Reporting

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system security.

• Prepare and deliver security reports and dashboards for management.
