The Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability across multiple branches, data centers, and cloud environments. This role includes overseeing networking, security, SIEM, servers, cloud/on-prem systems, data center operations, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies to support business operations efficiently.
Core Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms).
- Ensure seamless IT operations across all retail branches, warehouses, and corporate offices.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of infrastructure solutions.
2. Network & Security Management
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise networking solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, MPLS, VPNs).
- Ensure security best practices in firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), endpoint security, and identity/access management (IAM).
- Implement and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions for threat monitoring and response.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.).
3. Servers, Cloud & Data Center Operations
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), storage solutions, and backup strategies.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of enterprise applications and databases.
- Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency in cloud and on-prem data centers.
4. Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP).
- Conduct DR drills and tests to ensure quick recovery in case of system failures or cyberattacks.
- Implement data replication, failover mechanisms, and backup policies.
5. IT Governance, Compliance & Vendor Management
- Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners.
- Evaluate and implement new IT solutions, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, system administrators, cloud specialists, and security professionals.
- Work closely with retail operations, finance, and business units to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
- Ensure 24/7 support for critical IT services across all retail branches.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP are a plus.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including networking, security, cloud, data center, and DR solutions.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise environments with multiple retail locations.
- Proven track record of leading IT teams and managing multi-vendor environments.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in network architecture, firewall policies, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions (Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage (SAN, NAS), and backup solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations, and compliance standards.
- Experience with automation, monitoring tools, and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
