Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful implementation of network firewall and email security solutions. This is a semi-technical position that requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate all project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing status reports.
- Ensure timely completion of all project deliverables.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
- Technical Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal IT teams (e.g., network engineers, security analysts) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Gather and document technical requirements and specifications.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of network firewall and email security solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users during and after implementation.
- Communication & Documentation:
- Maintain clear and concise project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
- Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, routing).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat vectors, security best practices).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Soft Skills:
