Position Overview: As the Cybersecurity Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the security of our information systems, and protecting against cyber threats. You will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, manage risk assessments, and establish policies and procedures to enhance our security framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity team, overseeing incident response, threat detection, and security operations.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure a unified approach to information security.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, threats, and regulatory requirements, making recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and present cybersecurity reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices (NIST, ISO, etc.).
- Proven experience in incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of network security, application security, and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about security challenges.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
